Lorena (she/her) got her B.S. in Psychological Sciences and her M.S. in Neuroscience at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Her research interests are focused on health disparities and the effects of stress on biopsychosocial health. At Rice University, she is  a Lab Manager in the Learning & Behavior Change Lab as well as the Stigma, Weight, Eating & Lifestyle (SWEL) Lab. Outside of research, her hobbies include running, reading and crocheting!
